Tornadoes
The weather today is calling for rain, hail, winds up to 60 miles per hour and a chance of MORE tornadoes.
Now, I know the chances go down tremendously since I don't live in a trailer (seriously, check out the stats!) but all of the funnel cloud activity has made me think of what I would be devestated to lose if my home was hit by a tornado.
The first answer, of course, would be fear for my children.
The second is, all of my pictures of my boys, and family members. I have tons of pictures in albums, along with thousands of pictures in my computer. Completely irreplaceable.
I don't worry too much about my house, nor my car, or any other thing that I own. Just those two things.
What would YOU be most worried about?

Beautiful picture Heather. I have to agree with you although the kids are grown and gone but if I had my Grandsons here they would be my first concern. Normally we have pets I would worry about but we don't have any at the moment. Pictures is a big one - I have thousands of pictures in many, many albums and on my computer too. Most other things can be replaced.
Put your pics on a cd and make two one for the house and one for a saftey deposit box that way you don't have to worry about losing them ;-)
I have the same concerns you have Heather. Losing precious baby photos would be my biggest fear. Afterall we can't turn back the hands of time on our children can we? :) Thanks for stopping by today, hope your nasty weather has long since past & you are safe.
Agreed! Yesterday, the little one and I bolted for the house of some friends a few blocks away, who have a basement, when Castle Rock went under tornado warning. I didn't grab anything but Jazzy and my computer (which has recent pics on it), but after I got to their house I wished I would have grabbed my hard drive with all the old pics stored on it. Next time, I'll try to do that!
Raingardener - Thank you for agreeing with me. That always is nice. lol. Isn't it amazing how important pictures are? My hubby doesn't seem to get it (I'm always the one taking pics, he's always ducking out of the way...I think my kids will forget what our faces looked like if something should happen to us!)
Lena - As always, great idea. Could you carve me out some time to do that? ;)
Perennialgardener - Yes. Baby photos, old house photos, grandma and grandpa photos...they all are so very special. We survived the past few storms...although last night was sure incredible!
Rachel - You think the same way I do! Love the new pics on your page!
Definitely my children.
